Zipclip Terms of Service

Zipclip is a video editing product that accepts video, audio, and transcripts and produces captions, edited footage, and exported videos. By using Zipclip, users agree to these terms and the Zipclip Privacy Policy.

Zipclip supports Google sign-in and email and password sign-in. Users must use account information they are authorized to use, protect their credentials, and take responsibility for activity under their account. Google authentication is handled through Google and Supabase Auth; email sign-in and password recovery are handled by Supabase Auth.

2. User content

Users must have the rights needed to upload videos, audio, transcripts, scripts, and other materials and to request processing of that content. Users retain their rights in their original content and authorize Zipclip to process it as necessary to provide editing, storage, preview, and export features.

Users must not upload unlawful content, content that infringes another person’s rights, malicious code, or content that could compromise service security or stability.

3. Service and output

Zipclip uses user-provided content and settings to perform speech matching, captioning, editing, and export. Automated output may require review or adjustment. Users are responsible for checking the accuracy and legality of output before publishing or using it.

4. Third-party services

Sign-in, email, database, file storage, speech recognition, and AI processing may rely on third-party services. Their availability and terms may affect parts of Zipclip. See the Zipclip Privacy Policy for data processing information.

5. Service changes and account actions

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features for maintenance, security, legal, or product reasons. We may restrict access to accounts or content that violate these terms, infringe rights, or threaten service security.

See Account and data deletion for deletion requests. Revoking Google access does not automatically delete a Zipclip account or stored data.
